From day one, Mr. J.D.Thote was very firm and determined to provide excellent quality milk to his customers and also, his way of thinking was basic to give the best quality milk produce at the most aggressive rates so as to elevate every single individual from the all-encompassing Thote family!
This determination later became the prime ethic of our organization. The Quality of milk supplied and the trust that Mr. J.D.Thote had built, helped in boosting the demand from neighbouring cities. Mr. J.D.Thote seized this opportunity at the earliest which led to the foundation of M/s J.D.Thote Dairy. To fulfill the ever-increasing demand from customers, our first milk Processing Plant was set up at Ashta in 1979. Dairy farming is a part of agriculture, practiced to produce milk which is generally from dairy cows and buffalows.
Today, the company has one of the most technologically advanced dairy plants in the country, with a processing capacity of approx. 1 lakh liters of milk per day. Every day, about 1 lakh liters of milk is standardized, pasteurized, packaged and dispatched for sale in Sangali, Satara, Pune, Mumbai and Kokoan. Apart from Milk, Butter, Ghee, Shrikhand, Basundi, Paneer, Buttermilk, Flavoured Milk, Chakka and Lassi form part of a formidable line-up of J. D. Thote Dairy products.
